Threaded rod production process flow

Annealing: the wire is heated to the appropriate temperature, maintain a certain time, and then slowly cooling, in order to adjust the crystalline structure, reduce the hardness, improve the normal temperature processing of wire.

Pickling: remove the oxide film on the surface of the wire, and form a layer of phosphate film on the surface of the metal, in order to reduce the wire drawing line and cold pier or forming and other processing processes, the abrasion of the mold.

Draw wire: cold pull the coil to the required wire diameter. Practical for part of the product can be divided into rough pumping (shelling) and fine pumping two stages.

Forming: the wire is forged by cold forging (or hot forging) to achieve the shape and length (or thickness) of the semi-finished product.

Rolling: To roll or tap formed semi-finished products to achieve desired threads. In practice, the bolts (screws) are called rolling teeth, teeth are called rolling teeth, nuts are called tapping teeth.

Heat treatment: Different heat treatment methods can be selected according to different objects and purposes. Quenching and tempering steel: quenched after high temperature tempering (500-650℃) spring steel: quenched after tempering at medium temperature tempering (420-520℃) carburizing carbon steel: carburizing after quenching and low temperature tempering (150-250℃) low carbon and medium carbon (alloy) steel quenched martensite, with the tempering temperature rise, the general rule is the strength of the decline, and the plastic, toughness rise.
