The full complement cylindrical roller bearing has one or two raceways full of rollers and without cage, which makes it suitable for very heavy radial loads at moderate speeds. Comparing with bearings with a cage can accommodate heavy radial loads and operate at high speeds, the full complement cylindrical roller bearing is mainly applicable to low-speed cases and usually produces loud noises.
It has two structures NCF (single row) and NNCF (double row). Both structures are capable of bearing single direction radial load. NNCF Design is for low-speed and heavy load cases. The full complement cylindrical roller bearing has two types Open-type and Close-type. Open-type is mostly used to general mechanical equipment with low-speed and heavy-duty requirements. Close-type is mostly used for wire rope pulleys of cranes.
